Eagle Granite Company, Inc. is a family-owned business that concentrates on providing excellent quality memorials with prompt service to its customers. The company was established in 1961 and has grown to become one of the premier granite manufacturers in Elberton.
We own and operate our own quarries from which we get our Eagle Blue granite, a beautiful, dark blue/gray stone, and our medium blue granites, Millstone and Blue Ridge blue/gray.
In addition to monuments in Eagle Blue, Millstone Blue, and Blue Ridge Blue we also manufacture memorials in American Black, Autumn Rose, Medium Barre Granite, Dakota Mahogany, Dark Blue, Eagle Black (a Select Dark Impala), Georgia Cherokee Marble, Jet Black, Kershaw Pink, Morning Rose, Oconee (Rosanna), Salisbury Pink, Eagle Ruby Red (India Red), and Silver Cloud (Grey Cloud).
Elliott started in the granite industry out of high school and learned the industry from the ground up with Allen Granite Co., Inc. In 1981 he partnered with Tony Adams at Eagle Granite Company and over the last twenty years has built the company into one of the premier manufacturers and quarriers in Elberton.
Vice President/General Manager
Bob started working in the granite industry while in college at Furman University and has been working full time since 1991. Bob is active in the Elberton Rotary Club and the local theater group.
Nick Fleischer first began learning about the granite industry while in high school. During the summers he worked at Eagle while attending college at USC Aiken. Upon graduation with a degree in business he came home to help run the company. Nick is the Operations Manager and has been responsible for helping to upgrade the production in our plant facilities.
James Walters is the Plant Superintendent and works hard to make sure that the orders are manufactured correctly and loaded on time to get to our customers. James and his wife Jan are the parents of Nathan and Jilly – a middle schooler and elementary schooler respectively. James is involved as a coach with both of his children.
resident order expert
Emily Smith is the resident order expert with over forty years experience in the granite industry. Emily resides in the Rock Branch community in Elbert County and loves living in the country. She enjoys her two grandchildren, both of whom adore her.
Tina Cannon provides the friendly voice that you are most likely to hear when you first call us. Tina works processing orders and quarry shipments. She and her husband David live on a farm in the Rock Branch community with their two children.
Tammey Bohlen works with scheduling and shipping. She and her husband Phil live here in Elberton. They have one daughter who attends college. She has ten years experience working in the granite industry. Tammey and Phil are active members at First Methodist Church.
Judy Smith is the bookkeeper and works with all of our accounts. She also has a lot of experience in the granite industry. Judy is the proud grandmother of two grandchildren. She and her husband Gary enjoy spending time with and spoiling both of them.
Susie Brown works in customer relations, here at Eagle. A native of Hart County, Georgia, she is married to Tom Brown and together they have four children and two grandchildren (with another one on the way!). Susie’s friendly voice is often the first thing you hear when you call Eagle. She enjoys tennis and running and spending time at the lake with her family. She is an active member of First Baptist Church in Elberton and sings in the choir.
Paula Stephens is a draftsman and operates our Monu-Cad system. She is married to Robby and has 4 children and one grandchild. She attends Bowman Church of God and is a BIG Florida Gator Fan.
Allen Seymour is a draftsman with thirty years experience. He operates one of our Gerber cad systems. He and his daughter Haylee live in Elbert County and have a miniature pit bull and a flying squirrel. Allen is a NASCAR enthusiast.
Elaine Andrews is a draftsman with thirty-four years of experience. She operates one of our Gerber Cad Systems. She has worked in all aspects of monument design and has even instructed classes on the Gerber Omega system. She and her husband Dennis have 4 children and 5 grandchildren. They enjoy attending the children’s sporting events.
Whisper Dotson works in the drafting department using the Gerber Omega software. She has over ten years? experience in drafting. She is married to David and they have one son, Connor. She is an accomplished artist and loves spending quality time with her wonderful family.
Stanford Butler has two daughters – Hannah and Brooklyn Butler. He enjoys golf, motorcycles, water and snow skiing, and boating. SEC football is the only college football (GO DAWGS!). He loves to travel and his passion is cooking. He has been involved in the granite industry since 1986. His grandfather started Townler Corporation in 1946. The name derived from W.C. Townsend, who started importing marble in 1886. His parents own and operate Townler Corporation to this day.
Don Hulme is an Eagle Granite Company sales rep. Don and his wife Jean have two children ? Leanne Freeman and Jim Hulme, 5 grandchildren. He has been working in the granite industry for 40 years. He attends First Methodist Church, enjoys golf, supporting the Georgia Bulldogs, and traveling.
Director of Marketing
Kathy Coggins is a sales representative at Eagle Granite Company. She and her husband, Curt, live in Elberton. She has two children, two step children and one granddaughter (who is the light of her life). Kathy has 18 years experience in granite sales. She is an active member of Falling Creek Baptist Church. Kathy loves cooking, baking, and making people smile.
Regional Sales Manager
Jim earned a B.S. in Marketing from Georgia College and State University in 1991. He has worked in Memorial Sales for 20 years. Jim and his wife Sonya, have two children, Parker and Rachel. He enjoys spending time at the lake with family and friends and is also an avid golfer. Jim and his family are active members of Elberton First United Methodist Church, where he has served on the Pastor Parish Relations Committee and the Board of Trustees.
Regional Sales Manager
Stewart Cone is Regional Sales Manager for Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. Stewart has over eighteen years’ experience working in Memorialization – including quarrying, manufacturing, and sales. Stewart and his wife Sara have two children, Ethan and Isabella. Stewart enjoys coaching Little League. He and his family are active members of the First United Methodist Church in Elberton. Stewart believes in keeping customers happy by giving them great service and working to exceed their expectations.
